super zoom: Africa invests in impoverished Europe

The performance „super zoom“ from Africa is guest in the theatre „Dschungel Wien“. The European debut performance takes place on the 19th of August.

From the 19th to the 23rd of August 2011 the African artists Mmakgosi Kgabi und Awelani Moyo are visiting Vienna. The both of them are bringing checks, Dollars, Euros, Pounds, Rands and diamonds as they intend to purchase crisis-ridden Europe.

First Stop: Austria. Once acquired, they will invest and curiously analyze the European culture. Including its indebted economy.

The performance-spectacle „super zoom - Or, How I Learned to Feel Good About the African Way“ is celebrating its premiere on the 19th of August at 20:30 in the „Dschungel Wien” and on the 20th and on the 23rd of August.

„super zoom“ deals with our world, economical dependency and the perspective of African women on global events. The two artists raise the issue of their African heritage as well as the European crisis.
